Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 24, 2026

1. Scope

This policy explains how Linkora collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data when you use our website and services.

2. Data We Collect

  • Account identifiers such as email address and login data.
  • Memorial content and metadata submitted by authorized users.
  • Operational/security data such as request logs and abuse signals.
  • Communication preferences, including marketing opt-in/out.

3. How We Use Data

  • To authenticate users and secure account access.
  • To deliver requested services and platform features.
  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
  • To send operational communications and, where permitted, marketing communications.

4. Legal Bases (GDPR)

  • Contract performance for account and memorial services.
  • Legitimate interests for platform safety and improvement.
  • Legal obligations for compliance and audit requirements.
  • Consent for optional marketing communications and consent records.

5. Sharing and Processors

We use vetted service providers for infrastructure and transactional operations. These currently include Supabase (authentication, database, and file storage), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (hosting and analytics), and Google (Tag Manager, Maps, and — for optional AI writing assistance — the Gemini API). We do not sell personal data.

AI features: when you choose to use AI assistance (for example, drafting a biography or timeline), the text or audio you provide is sent to Google’s Gemini API to generate a draft for your review. We do not use your memorial content to train AI models.

Content about others: memorials may include information and photos of people other than the account holder. If content about you or a loved one appears on a memorial and you would like it reviewed or removed, contact us at info@pslinkora.com and we will respond promptly.

6. Retention

Data is retained only as long as needed for service operation, legal compliance, and dispute resolution. Retention timelines may differ by data type and regulatory requirement.

7. Security Controls

Linkora applies technical and organizational safeguards, including authenticated access controls, role-based restrictions, and session security mechanisms.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, data portability, and withdrawal of consent. EU/UK-specific details are described in our GDPR Notice.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use essential technologies for authentication and session continuity. Additional analytics or marketing technologies are subject to applicable legal requirements.
